At present, most of the vulnerable parts of refractory materials such as grate cooler, kiln head cover, corner of tertiary air duct and kiln tail smoke chamber of cement kiln system are made of unshaped refractory materials. These vulnerable parts are affected by on-site construction conditions, curing, baking and many other aspects. Under the impact and damage of corresponding factors such as chemical erosion, erosion wear, mechanical stress and thermal spalling, the service life of refractory materials is relatively short.
Premature damage of refractory materials increases the number of kiln shutdown maintenance, reduces the operation rate of cement kiln, increases the cost of kiln shutdown and maintenance, not only reduces the output of cement clinker, but also shortens the service life of refractory materials in other parts of the kiln system.
