Ordinary refractory brick
If you only consider the price, you may choose cheaper ordinary refractory bricks, such as clay bricks. This brick is cheap, and a brick costs about two or three dollars. It has a very wide range of uses. However, whether it meets the use requirements? If it fails to meet the requirements, it may cause frequent maintenance due to wear and tear, which cannot be used continuously normally. Multiple maintenance may lead to early overhaul and even damage to equipment, this is also not worth the loss.
Clay brick is made of weak acid material, with a body density of about 2.15g/cm3 and an alumina content of ≤ 48%. Although the refractoriness is as high as 1670-1750 degrees, it is mainly used in the high temperature range of 1400 degrees. The product can only be used in some unimportant parts that meet the use temperature. The normal temperature compressive strength of clay brick is not high, only 15-30. These are all related to product indexes, which are also the reason why the low price of clay brick.

The product can be used in the high temperature range of 1420~1550 ℃ according to the grade and can contact flame. The compressive strength at normal temperature is as high as 50-80MPa. When contacting flame, the surface temperature cannot be higher than the use temperature, this is mainly affected by the density and alumina content of the product.
